Tips for selling properties:

1.  New appliances:  stainless steel is really in, but if you can't
afford new appliances, you can update old appliances with a
faux stainless steel contact paper available at Target.

2.  Open up walls:  open floor plans look bigger and are the most
popular now.  But be sure to get professional help to determine
which walls are supporting walls and which can be removed for
ultimate benefit.

3.  Go with the flow:  give the house (and furniture/design) a flow.

4.  Sq. ft. at a premium (buyers love offices).

5.  Match the "book," to the "cover."  Interior design and external
design should align.

6.  Complete the picture:  "move in ready,"  be sure the house is
spotless to present a "move in readiness."  Nothing works as
well as a fresh coat of paint.

7.  Go over the top, but take what you have and make it work.
